I do have a working microphone and I am able to use it when on the server and on discord when required. The situations I could use it would be during meetings and admin sits.
Warnings:
I currently don't have any server or discord warnings and I intend to keep my record clean and follow all the guidelines put into place when on these servers.
Kicks/Bans:
I currently don't have any server or discord kicks/bans and I intend to avoid getting into situations that would require me to be kicked or banned.
Staff Rules:
Before starting this application I made sure to read all the staff rules and made sure I am aware of all the punishments and ban times that go with them. I am now also aware that new players breaking a rule must be given a verbal warning before issuing an official punishment as well as making sure I don't deal with my own sits unless I am the only staff on the server.
Past Experience:
Before joining this community I have been in the Garry's Mod community a long time having over 7000 Hours within the game (Proving I don't have a life I guess). I have been apart of some large and small communities as well as running my own for a while. One of the communities I was apart of a while back was Werewolf Gaming which is a large UK based community that is still running today. In that community, I was given the rank of Head Moderator for their Jailbreak server meaning I was a large part of training new staff members as well as giving appliances constructive feedback so they knew how they could improve as a staff member and their applications for the future. I have also helped build up some slightly smaller communities one of which was called Reticle Gaming which was a small DarkRP Server running back in 2017-2018. When this server was small I ranked up to Senior Administrator and I gave the owner some advice on how to grow the community and it started to hit over 40 daily players for over a 6-month period. However, it all came to an end when the owner could no longer fund the community. I have also been apart of a lot of other communities but I feel these are some of my highlighted positions.
Are u gonna be able to be active quite frequently?
I would say this might be one of my struggles joining the staff team. Due to my work schedule being heavily shift-based and sometimes during unsociable hours I would say I am able to be active however my activity may not always be at the peak times of the server meaning I am most likely going to be on late at night or during the morning and afternoon. I will be available some evenings however this isn't something I can always rely on. I would say I am able to be on about 2-4 hours per day but some days I may be on longer.
What values would you add to the team?
Some key values that are needed for a good staff team are Teamwork, Communication as well as being committed. I feel like I have all these skills and can develop them more within the staff team. I feel some values I could add to the staff team would be enthusiasm towards the server as well as making sure everyone is working well as a team. I feel like these values are very important in any team as everyone will have the same values and goals in mind and ensure everyone has the same goal in mind makes for effective teamwork.
Why do you want to be a staff member?
I would like to become a staff member for Isonic Roleplay as I have been playing on the server for around a week and I really enjoy the server. As well as that I feel I have the necessary skills to become a dedicated and hardworking staff member as well as interact with the community and make sure they feel welcomed into the community. I also feel I will be able to actively help by suggesting improvements to help progress the server as well as help progress the community in a positive direction. Another thing I would make sure to do as a staff member is getting new players involved to give them the best possible enjoyment from the server as well as giving them help with making money, building as well as making sure they are aware of all the rules in place. As well as this I feel like my previous experience makes me a suited candidate for a role in the community.
Tell us more about yourself:
I am from the southwest of England and I am currently in university studying Media and film. I left school at the age of 16 and studied at Collage for around 2 years after this. During my time at college, I achieved multiple qualifications which allowed me to progress onto higher education.
I feel that I have been engaged in playing video games from a young age and it builds up more when I got a PC. I have been playing Gmod for around 5 years and been engaged in a variety of game modes and been in communities in some of them. I enjoy helping out new communities and making them as successful by giving the owners some advice which in some cases works. I am currently working 28 hours a week in a bar which is alright and I intend to move on fairly soon.
